Tressel wants a good Red-Out. I really hope OSU can win this game. Penn State is looking pretty good though.

I'm getting really sick and tired of the media telling me I have to vote for Obama. Apparently anyone that votes republican is racist. Oh, and Colin Powell is Obama's Bitch

Owned my first two Grad School midterms. Man's Game Bitch.

Hooray! We actually do have cable now. October 17th. I guess Time Warner wasn't coming to unlock the box so the maintenance dudes decided to just fish the appropriate cables out of the cable box & ran them because they waited all week for Time Warner and didn't want people to have to go through the weekend. So anyway we have cable & the people in charge of the wireless network changed the settings on the routers so that Xbox's & computer games work. Amazing that it took that long but I'm glad it's over.

Studying hard this weekend cause I have an Econ Midterm on Monday and an Accounting Midterm on Tuesday. Monica's trying to make it as hard as possible however, by buying Bengals tickets for the Bengals-Steelers game. Should be pretty awesome. I've never been to a regular season football game and hopefully the Bengals can get their first win, haha. Probably not, though.

These AIG exec's amaze me. They're obviously pretty smart if they ascended to the upper echelons of a company that warrants billions of dollars in bailouts. How can they continue spending money on ridiculous retreats and hunting trips when they know they're being scrutinized. They may have business smarts but they have absolutely no common sense. "It was already planned" is not an excuse and I'm happy to see that the DA is trying to get back some of the insane bonuses that these execs were getting.

Tressel's press conference this week. He talks about Pryor as the quarterback, reviews the Purdue game where OSU didn't score any offensive touchdowns and previews for Michigan State

Gas is down to 2.78 [14 Oct 2008|12:26pm]

[ music | T.I. feat. Rihanna - Live Your Life ]

October 14th, the day that we finally get cable. June 1st - October 13th, it's unbelievable. They called us yesterday to inform us that they were going to be installing cable today. No word yet on whether we get a modem to make our own wireless network. If we don't, then I'm going to be pretty pissed since the Heritage Hills internet is not usable for my Xbox or any computer games.

EDIT: What was I thinking, of course we're not getting cable today. Turns out Time Warner Cable locked the cable box & the genius DirectTV installation crew decided that it wasn't necessary to check that before telling us that we would be getting cable today. So we're going to have to wait a couple more days. Ryan was the one that talked to them so I still don't know whether or not we're getting a modem, but we better be if for no other reason than having to deal with all this crap.

No, obesity does not exempt you from the death penalty. You have to pay for raping and killing 2 college girls. If the jury rules in favor of the death penalty, you can't just eat your way out.

Mickey Mouse tries to register to vote through ACORN. What a great organization that Obama was a trainer in and clearly still supports. How can an organization convicted of voter fraud in like 10-12 states? Just doesn't make sense

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/

For people who like Major League Baseball, it's the best site to read. This Tim Dierkes guy just reads articles nonstop and compiles all the rumors from the major sports sites. I've been pretty much addicted to it since I started hearing about Ken Griffey Jr. rumors.

http://wwwt.slickdeals.net/

That's how I got Rock Band for $99 this summer. Awesome site if you are cheap.

New Season of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" is amazing so far. Green man is back, GREEN MAN!

And the first episode of the Office was absolutely hysterical. New episode tonight should be really funny too. Man, I wish I had cable, or even any form of television.

Heroes is finally back in form and actually interesting to watch. But it's also pretty predictable, and at the end of basically every episode I've been able to tell what the twist/cliffhanger is going to be. Still, I'll take a little predictability as long as it keeps my attention.

I've also been watching Survivor in what is potentially it's final season. Ken the pro smasher is on it which is hilarious, but from the first couple of episodes it doesn't look like he is going to make it that far. That being said, there's supposed to be a shake-up of the teams and maybe he can actually get in on an alliance. Either way, I'm rooting for him since Vidjo knew him lol.

Oh yeah, we finally have internet in the apartment, woohoo! Just not our own ... still. They've made it so that the whole complex is a wireless bubble by placing a wireless signal on top of each of the buildings. Rather than one big bubble, they elected to have a bunch of separate smaller ones. But it works fine now and I don't have to use the computer in an specific place, so I'm happy. Now I'm just waiting for cable so we can watch our shows and then hook up the router and actually have wireless settings that we can control.

Oh and we've watched the two episodes from the newest season of family guy and they're hilarious.

Not to go on a rant here... [08 Oct 2008|04:41pm]
[ mood | aggravated ]

Business school is getting tougher. A lot of reading, but I'm up for the challenge.

MSNBC did an article on the "secrets of survivor". Pretty interesting for people that watch the show. I learned that the women get to take tampons and birth control to the island lol.

Reds are getting rid of Corey Patterson. I think that as long as Jocketty makes sure that Dusty only has decent players to choose from, the Reds have a pretty good shot at making the playoffs next year. Dusty can only do so much damage as long as his decision making is limited to the lineup card only.

Ohio State looked good against Wisconsin last weekend. I was getting nervous when they were losing and it was down to two minutes. A recovered fumble and some nice 3rd down conversions won that game for us. The first drive was awesome, the last drive was awesome, but in between they just looked decent. Two more tuneup games and then the big game against Penn State. HOPEFULLY Penn State is still undefeated by then so that OSU can move up higher in the rankings when they win.

Didn't watch last night's debate but from what I've read and heard on the radio, Obama won again. This is truly sad. I heard Brokaw was a terrible moderator and rather than select the questions that the general population wanted to hear, he just picked the ones that he specifically wanted to hear. That's pretty lame. Who gives a shit about Latvia and Iraq or whatever countries they were talking about when we have a pretty big economic crisis going on right here in the U.S.? The IMF said that the U.S. is slated to go into a recession over the next two years and from what else I've read, this is supposed to be one of the worst financial times since the great depression.

Bailout has gone over smoothly. Lets give control of 700 billion to the secretary of the treasury. Oh wait I'm sorry, it looks like 700 billion isn't going to be enough. 1.5 trillion is probably what they're actually going to spend. Isn't it crazy that in the worst financial crisis of our lives, Obama and McCain didn't have a clue who they were going to name as their secretary of the treasury? Probably the most important position that they're going to appoint, and they don't know who it's going to be?

Why are they proposing more spending during the projected recession? How do they plan to pay for it? McCain is proposing 300 million in spending and Obama 1.2 trillion. Apparently Obama plans to tax the rich, who already pay 66% of taxes. Oh and tax small businesses too. Yeah that's good, increase taxes on people who are already paying a high portion of the bill and then increase them on small businesses. So he wants rich people to have less money and stop buying things and wants small business to have higher taxes which will make it harder for them to enter to market. Less people spending money and less places to spend money. That's a good idea for an economy in crisis, don't you think?

And since the government bailout is doing so well, lets increase government regulation by having universal healthcare.

I would think that with the economy doing so poorly, voters would want to decrease goverment spending and make sure that there is money open for lending so that people can buy houses and cars and help the economy rebuild. Apparently what we want is universal healthcare and more taxes. God I hate politics, I just want to be able to get a job and buy a house.

This is the future, which is truly sad for America

Today I went to walmart. The people that work there are fucking retarded.

But yeah, even more retarded are the people who work at Giant Eagle. I love getting 3 free 12 packs of pepsi.

We bought Dobby a little cat house today to sleep in. He really loves it, so that's good.

Also, today Monica and I went to a pet store. While we were looking at puppies, Monica asked me where I thought that they went to the bathroom. I told her that the cages only had little metal rails at the bottom so the poop/pee could go through. Right at that moment, Monica told me to look at one of the cages. One dog was laying down on a pillow and another dog walked up and was pooping like 5 inches in front of his face. It was so slimy and gross. After he was done, some of it was stuck on the little railing ... so he turned around and licked it until it fell through. Then he licked the rail clean. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I love eating shit.

Seinfeld tomorrow and then Canada the next day!!! WOOHOO it's gonna be an awesome weekend.

One more trip down
To the lost and found
To find your heart
That the quarterback punk
Dropped on the ground
One more trip down
To the lost and found
To find your heart

Left out
The one they picked last
For the big ball game
Beat up after class
No doubt
Showed up one day
You were not the same
You won't be the last one anymore

One long walk down
Through the hallway now
You're finding out
That you don't fit in this time around
One long walk down
Through the hallway now
You feel left out

Left out
The one they picked last
For the big ball game
Beat up after class
No doubt
Showed up one day
You were not the same
You won't be the last one anymore

Left out
The one they picked last

Beat up after class
No doubt
Showed up one day

Wooooo

Left out

For the big ball game
Beat up after class
No doubt
Showed up one day
You were not the same
You won't be the last one
